This sounds like I'm just complaining, I am. I just think in comparison to what you get for a basic kill which is like 5 points, losing 40-50 when I have 700 is a bit steep, and gets worse as i get higher up. It should do to make it more difficult, but not to this extent... Obviously everyone can't be a pro, but with lag deaths etc, its near impossible.

That is a perfect loss count, it makes it harder for players to get higher points, try losing 200 every time you die, been there. Points don't matter, wins do. The points will not be changed, it was changed with MCSG v2

yeah well my real problem is the lag, but it seems like that will never go...

I loose 350 every time I die and I always seem to the be at the same amount. :p (4,5k)

Demanding an end to a discussion/suggestion once you disagree with it is both self centered and offensive, especially if the idea is a good one such as this. Moderators will decide whether or not to lock a thread, so please don't try to order them to do so unless you yourself have made the thread.

Sorry, I was only requesting a lock, I was pretty sure I saw this matter brought up by another mod saying it wouldn't be changed so there wasn't a point posting it, maybe it was something else! derp.

I see you're a growing mcsg player, but people like me just have to get used to it and figure out some pro strats. If you want to know more tips I'd search on utube :)

I had about 1200 typically, but I've lost them all nearly recently due to lag which I posted a thread about the other day, and it's made me notice how quickly you can lose them all, and when it's caused by lag it's a little unfair.

Make sure you're playing on the right group of servers. eu - europe us - united states au - australia as - asia ca - canada

Lags, are a big disadvantage, but you can do something against lags, like change internet provider, do what jonny said or look for this <-- click

Losing so many points when you die is the point. That's the challenge. If a player is maintaining thousands of points you know they are really good because even though they lose hundreds of points per death, they still kill enough players to maintain their current points.

In the end, do points really matter anyway? Most of the time I get a high amount of points I sponsor them so I don't get targeted for them.
