If this thread has already been made, just lock this one, I didn't feel like searching around.
I know a lot of players from MCSGV1 who loved bounty. /bounty was a way to basically get a player killed, but the player who killed she/he would get the points. So basically, you where giving more points to the player who kills them. This option was great for teaming with friends, because you could give you're points to a friend.
Even better is back then, you would get more points if you donated.
If someone where to bounty 100 points on someone, and you were an iron donor, you would get 200 points instead of 100. Same for diamond and gold, except they got a bit more.
I really liked this feature as it was great for getting revenge on the player who killed you, you could bounty on them, and them people would hunt them down for the points.
What do you guys think?

Bounty was removed because of the glitches it caused. When it was removed, whenever you killed someone with a bounty on them you would get double or triple the points you were supposed to get. I don't think they found a solution to this bug, and that's why it was removed. They added sponsoring instead if you want to get rid of your points, and it also serves the same method if they can use the sponsored item to kill the target.

It also caused random people to get higher amounts of points. This increased the total bounty flowing (noobs with tons of points, pros with less points gaining more points faster) around the servers and made some people have insanely high amounts of points.

Yea true. I remember that bug, I had like 18,000 thousands points..

I liked /bounty, except it caused WAY to many bugs and sometimes was abused. If it could be added back without the added bugs, I would approve.
