I would only like it if fire spread would be disabled.

Maybe make the fire disappear at a faster rate than normal? Like 3-5 seconds, enough time to burn a player, but not enough time to do a lot of damage.
Of course it would burn for eternity on the nether rack like normal, but you can't place nether rack so that's not an issue.

A player told me that a little birdie told him fire is going to be fixed after the beta
So, they are working on it :eek:

Didn't have to reply twice. I saw that, I just wanted to say something that I thought would improve this :)
