A command to find a player (Server)

Would it be possible to make it so the command won't find certain players such as YouTubers and other popular people?

I'm not sure if that would be easily possible, as the feature would most likely be a part of the staff ban panel, or if it was available to all players, the leaderboards or individual stat pages.

I'm sure there is a way to make it so you can't do /find on people of a certain rank, but I don't know if you can do it for certain people. It's like the /tp command on a normal bukkit server, where some certain higher ranks/ops can protect themselves from /tp commands and /tpa requests. It's just it would be for /find and it would work on similar mechanics, so that if the people typed in the command that blocked people from finding them they wouldn't be findable.
Or maybe, so that this wouldn't be abused, give everyone permission to do /find and also block people trying to use the command on them. Of course, staff could view anyone below their rank. I think this could be helpful to anyone, and if not available to the public, staff members should be able to use it.

They screwed over the plugin by improving the leaderboards? That's rude, uncalled for and untrue.

We would like this feature for all players, so you can see which servers your friends are playing on, but as had been stated it would be abused. Players would be able to follow and target people they didn't like from server to server, and also for people who are famous, youtubers, Chad, some staff, etc they could log into a server and instantly be swamped by other players joining. I'mfairly sure this feature is being worked on, but will probably be kept staff only.

If this plugin was implemented, every player should have the option to turn off other players finding using /find against them? For example - in a game just type /find off, /find on

There seems to be more cons than pros with this suggestion. I would say staff only, to prevent unnecessary fights from occuring.

Uhm, just a suggestion, but...
Perhaps you could implement a Friend system.
It could work hand in hand with the /find command
You can add players as "Friends" and they will have to "Accept" that request. After they accept it, you will be on each other's "Friends List" and you can do the /find command to each other. Naturally, Mods+ wouldn't need to have players on their friends list for it to work.
