Bazz, you need to look @ it from OUR perspectives. I 100% gurantee, your only on that side because you havn't been banned. If you WERE banned in the past you would feel my pain, but you have yet to experience my POV. But eh, that's MCSG for you not willing to even consider it, just a plain flat out no. I understand what you're saying, trust me I know where you're coming from. But if you broke the rules in the first place it you can't expect it to change because you have. Imagine if someone was sent to prison for something and thought that their police record should be cleared because they changed, that wouldn't work. It's the same system here, you break the rules and it stays with you. However I still think if you remain behaved for around 4-6 months 1 ban should be removed from your count.

If you rob a bank IRL then that stays on your record. Sure you might change in the future but you will still be stuck with that. As bazz said if you have changed then you won't get banned.

What if, say, you were at the scene of the bank robbery and later the police arrested you because someone claimed you were the robber? Now that, in my opinion, is what is unfair. Back in my first week of MCSG, I saw people dancing in the lobby and thought it was cool, so I started pressing shift/jumping/moving mouse wildly/walking randomly. Unfortunately, a senior mod thought I was derp hacking! I was banned for two weeks. Needless to say, I was a noob at minecraft then, so I appealed the ban and was unbanned.

I don't know if this stays on my permanent record or whatnot, but I recently applied for moderator (3 weeks ago). It would be unreasonably unfair if this prevented me from becoming a moderator because of a mistake another moderator made. Just my thoughts.

If a ban is appealed successfully then you will be unbanned and the ban cleared from your record. Our sr. staff are highly experienced and can tell if you are hacking or not. If there are no hacks then you have nothing to worry about.

Must be a really experienced staff when they banned Egrodo for 'hacking', when he was just good. Lol, you've got to face it, MCSG staff makes unlawful bans, and you know it and don't you dare deny it. Back about 6 months ago, mods were making horrible bans and now it influences us when we want to apply for a moderator position, but eh thats my perspective. And if I robbed a bank and I change yeah I'm a changed man. But businesses will hire me because I've changed, thats not the case for MCSG one you get banned, then your in a jail cell for your entire MCSG career, because they don't give you a CHANCE, but guess what? Irl they give you a chance and thats irl, MCSG a game, who we enjoy to have fun, is like a prison once you get banned. But w/e like I said it's cool.

And yeah irl if I rob a bank, then It will be on my record but if I get arrested again my previous jail sentence will NOT influence my 2nd jail sentence. That's how MCSG differs from IRL.

I have a freedom of speech and I can talk about Egrodo's ban all I want? What are you going to do ban me? I did nothing wrong, see this is my point. But life is all about CHANCES. We need to forgive and forget, about 3 months ago. I got banned for typing "FULL LOL" in capital letters, and I swear to god on the holy book, that even Le0(a sr mod) agreed with me that, that was a terrible ban. Now your telling me that your going to punish me from becoming a moderator for typing "FULL LOL" in caps without a warning, that as small as getting a C- on a test, nothing wrong with it. Sigh, like I said it's whatever.

Actually, having something like that on your record would absolutely annihilate any chance of getting hired :L
Ive been banned three times, the first was my friend, who had banned for abusive language decided to log into my account and spammed more abusive language , getting my account banned :L
The second was for hacking, I figured my chance for moderator was already blown by my friend, so I hacked, got banned and stopped hacking. And the last time was when My account was hacked into and temporarily stolen, and used to again, spout abuse on the servers...
So two of those 3 aren't even my fault, but I still have to live with them

And you HATE that. But all I'm going to say is we need chances, that's all I'm saying. Mod please /close this thread.

I've been banned before as well, so I can relate to this. However, in my 11 months of playing, I've only been banned once. In all honesty, it's hard to get banned, and if you have a banned record, don't sweat it if your following the rules. You won't get banned if you follow the rules.
