Better chest content

Survival games would be a lot better with more things added to chests, you can sponsor people with enderpearls why not put them in chest, along with string(bows, and fishing poles) bonemeal (fake iron armor) tnt (landmines) and greatly anticipated potions.

True, but that'ts just in the 2 hunger games we are aware of. If you remember correctly in panem they change hunger games up every year, For all we know they could have had a hunger games in the middle of the capital and fought with guns. Also MCSG clearly states that they are survival games not hunger games and they are doing their own thing.

it's based off of the hunger games, and the only time they would possibly have used guns would have been the quarter quell, the first one was voting for who was in it. second was 48 and then was the previous victors.

Here's my two sense on your idea.

If enderpearls became a chest item, they wouldn't feel so special anymore. That is why I like them as a sponsor item only. String is just a nuisance (In my opinion) and is one of the few things I actually left in chests. Bonemeal wouldn't be such a bad idea, although its kind of noobish. TNT would be cool but I think it would just cause extra lag (Don't hold me to it, i'm just guessing) that isn't needed. Finally I would not recommend adding potions. Even when potions were only sponsorable items they were still overpowered. If someone got a strength potion, it was over.

If I did it, I would make it so Enderpearls would probably be rare and in tier 2 only, string would be rare, so it wouldn't get annoying, bonemeal just adds more spice, makes weaker players look stronger Tnt would also be rare and only in tier 2 so there wouldn't be very much and same with potions, but only things like speed 1, splash poison, spash slowness and things like that

I would like Enderpearls in Tier2s, it would make the games more interesting imo. (He teleported away. Get my Enderpearls and follow him!) I always liked potions, but putting them into chests would change the game too much. As sponsoring, all the time. But they should last only 30 secs.

Enderpearls? Lol, I was heartbroken when they were added to sponsor menu, me no gusta. Unrealistic and pointless.
String, on the fence. It's annoying and helpful at the same time.
Bonemeal is god damn useless, why would you want someone to run away from you? >.>
TNT? I don't want landmines, it'll ruin PvP completely.
Potions? Sooo OP.

There isn't anything I think they can add without it being OP or useless, such as all the items you said. I think the only thing that needs to be changed about chest loot is reduction of arrows and decrease in the amount of foods.

Ender pearls, TNT and potions should NEVER be in MCSG it just ruins PvP, and potions are just way too OP. As for fishing rods and bows, I think they should be removed from chests and be replaced with string for a more survival and strategy aspect. That way you would have to think, "Should I use this string for a bow and have a long range weapon? Or use it for a fishing rod so I can use the fishing rod technique?" MCSG has almost no survival aspect at the moment, I want to have to think and make strategic decisions in the Survival Games, right now I don't have to do any of that. Right now MCSG is almost only PvP and no survival. It needs to go back to being survival AND PvP.

Honestly, I feel like it's fine how it is. I still feel like it should be a little more difficult for people to obtain armour, however.
