Leaderboards

Now normally I like change, and can see the logic behind it, even if it makes me furious. But the leaderboards. They were fine before. Why did we have to change them? They were almost identical to the current ones, but instead you could see all stats whether you clicked their name or not. You didn't have to know an exact name to find someone. They supported the /records command. They were almost perfect in my opinion, why did we have to change them is my real question? Any answer would be appreciated, but the answer of anyone who had a part in this change would be even better.

I actually preferd the old leaderboards because they were easier to use in my opinion.
But the new leaderboard isn't horrible, it's different.
And if you want to see your records, use the /bug command.

Yes i agree the old leaderboard was easy to configure & understand. But at the same time Chad & majority of the community wanted Global Leaderboards so it's done. Although there is gonna be other leaderboards such as kills/points etc. I'm actually okay with the current leaderboard that we have now because it's kinda easy to identify a player whether the player has a rank or not. The current leaderboard works fine but i still prefer the old one.

Notice how they are still intent on fixing the lag. Are the leaderboards there 1st priority? No. We were promised regional leaderboards as well, did we get them no? The current leaderboards are fit the Chad's/The Staff's liking. Did we ever get a poll on whether to change the interface? No. Heck, we didn't really know what we were going to get in V2, some people like it, others don't. My opinion on this; The staff messed with perfection.

I have a separate rant thread for this but don't you miss the days when teir 2s were plentiful on a map other than sg4?

I just wish the main leaderboard and the individual leaderboards displayed the same things.

The previous Leaderboards said what rank the player was... Now you need to find them or find there Leaderboards profile.

That's true, but I think if they had more of the stats shown on the leaderboards page on a user's leadeboard profile page, then it would be better.
