Veteran Rank?

So maybe players who joined in the first month would just get a veteran title, that's it?

I like it, because, well, I'm a veteran, and, I'm selfish. xD. In all seriousness though, what half_squirrel said, it would be somewhat useless. Even if I do think it would be neat, IMO, it would cause unnecessary programming for the MCSG developer team. Because then, they have to go into their permissions plugin (which i s probably a custom mcsg plugin) create a new class file for the new rank, and code all the aspects of that rank, which doesn't seem like a lot, but it's the fact that it's not really needed, that makes it difficult.

I know, I said we don't need it just like we don't need a veteran rank at all, but giving the veterans kick privilege too would be 10x harder. If they were to get any privilege, I would recommend just the colour idea.

I think that its a good idea, but no kicking and the veterans should get a special color in game such as dark gray.

Yeah the veteran rank should be rewarded to the select few who joined MCSG in its first one or two months of existence. The only perks should be the 'veteran' rank and a slightly different color in chat (maybe lime green or dark grey). This is a good idea because even if they were inactive for all that time, all they would get would be a different rank and color. And also, the people who actually did stick along for a long time would get a little 'thank you' gift. This should definitely be implemented into the Survival Games servers!

I agree the rank should only be given out to people who've been here since 2011 and only since then.

But in all seriousness, no this is like getting free donor. It's not fair to the people who've only discovered MCSG now and it won't happen. Thread locked.
