Personally, I could go either way because as TheJustHellooo said, you might not get food on your chest route and dying shouldn't be a consequence, but at the same time, you might not get a weapon, and death IS the consequence, BUT it could eliminate campers.

A human can last 10 days without food suffering little to no health problems, but 30 days with thinks like going blind, going deaf, loss of skin, loss of vital organs, loss of limbs, loss of... Actually I was. I was a total noob back then and 90% of the time, they were the cause of my deathMy guess is that you were'nt around when mobs actually spawned
