Monthly Reset of "Sticky" Threads

Hey I think it would be nice to see some other "Sticky" Threads instead of the ones weve got now... since ages.
OMGjustin 's thread is now sticky since motnhs and think it would be nice to have something like a Monthly Top 5 as Sticky Threads.
I have no problem with Guides or something else helpful as Sticky thread but the Texture Pack Competition might be removed as sticky thread (i think) or the Screenhot thread.

Exactly what JaysWing said... The screenshot thread deserves to be there, and it's not like these threads are stealing your spotlight. They are usually --

1. Covering a topic relevant to its catagory
2. Covering a hot topic at the moment
3. A good guide
4. Stating rules
5. Answering a FAQ.
6. Very popular (in a good way, not a flame war, but something like the screenshot thread)

For the most part, threads that are stickier are stickier for a reason, and should not be unstickied. However, I do agree with you that there are several threads that really do no longer need nor deserve the sticky title they hold, and rather just clutter the forum. So I do think stickies should be cleaned out once in a while, but only for specific threads, not on a massive scale.

Hmm. I sort of like this idea, although some threads should stay stickied for eternity :3. Maybe have a poll on who thinks what should be removed?

The reason some of those threads are at the top is because people enjoy looking at them and they are popular.
