Some players do use hacks in the games which is quite unfair to the rest of the people playing, I recon the games should be set that you cannot use any extended reach mods or extra speed mods whilst in the game. Basically have it so you cannot log on with any mods, except optifine which for me and my friends is a must to stop lag when playing!

We do not allow hackers and are trying the very best to eliminate them as fast as we can. Report them on the forums and they would be dealt with.

I reported a person for hacking, but the sad thing was, I got a response that stated I needed video evidence. Is this true?

Yes, if you read the Report Abuse Template, then it states you need video evidence for hackers and screenshots for spammers/verbal abuse/etc...

I'm glad you think so! It would make things a lot easier if people with mods benificial to the game couldn't get on to start with as sometimes it is hard to prove in game who is cheating! But I'll let my friends know that they can report people on here

Well there we go your comments prove my point, I guess its still pretty easy to get away with hacking as a lot of people don't have the resources to record games on the off chance they will catch a hacker!

I understand that it's not easy to monitor and track someone to be sure they're not hacking or in fact are. I wish there was a better way, because when I do get 'hacked' upon, I never think to record, nor have time to set up fraps.

BUT, come to think of it, I recorded someone jumping up and down on the water as if it was stone or grass, and uploaded it to YouTube. The video can be found here.

Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. It is the word of mouth against the word of mouth.

With video evidence it is clear if they are hacking or not.


To put it into perspective, if it was all word of mouth, then all the people in the top of the leaderboards would be banned because they always win and have a high number of points.

I understand you cannot go on word of mouth against word of mouth as people could easily just get people banned they don't like, but it does look like there is a big enough issue with the ease of reporting as well as a problem with hackers to warrent some intervention like that I suggested, not being able to log in when having certain mods installed

I think for at least the next week or so I will record every match I play and/or spectate. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one person each day with a speed hack or something similar. Why do people ruin our fun :{

Every lobby I go into, there's someone using mods.
