Spoutcraft servers

Spoutcraft is a client which lets servers make their own items, functions, keybinds and such to implement them into their own servers. I was thinking. I know this isn't the hunger games, bu how cool would minecraft be with nightlock, night vision sunglasses, muttations, gamemade blocks that are triggered when humans are near, parachutes, and much more.
And instead of altering their minecraft jar, all your faithful players have to do is install the client and select 'custom builds.'

Not everyone will want to do this. It seems like an alright idea, and might be fun to try out, but not everyone will get this client.

It would definitely be a lot of fun! Are you suggesting just a few servers using SpoutCraft? The only problem is that this would require tons of extra coding just for these few servers instead of work on getting the plugin out of beta. Plus I've heard that SC can be fairly buggy, and having two types of servers like that might interfere with the ban system and such.
