Ok, i'm here today to talk about an idea that i thought of (at least i think, not sure if it has been thought of before). Anyway my idea is of making a new way of banning players. I'm sure a lot of you have reported a player, and the report has not been seen till late and night or early in the morning, therefore in minor cases were the ban is only for a few hours, they said player may have missed there ban or most of there ban because they were banned late at night when they may have gone offline.

Now my idea is that when a player is banned, the temp ban timer lets say doesn't start ticking until the player next trys to log into a server. This means that they won't miss their ban, which gives them time to reflect upon there actions, and in some ways its more worth while for the player making the report, knowing that the player they reported has served there time. That is basically my idea.

Not a bad idea definitely but then you have to think about the extent and the possibilities in the realm of programming. I definitely trust our developers and believe they could achieve this but then, I still don't know about the limits and capabilities of such programming. All in all, this is a great idea, you definitely have my support in this

Wrong section by the way, it goes in Feature Suggestions :)

I think this idea makes a lot of sense, and would be a good thing to add to these servers. It would make it so the banned player actually knows that he did something wrong, and will hopefully stop him from doing it again.

Genius, thinking outside the box.

Great idea, original, helpful, and it keeps hackers off longer.

Good job, you actually stumped me. Couldn't think of how this would be bad.

The only thing that could possibly be unfair about this, was if you got a ban that was on a larger scale. Let's say, for a month. Then you leave for another month, come back, and find out you've been banned for a month. So, instead of a one month ban, you're technically issuing a 2 month ban.

It's a good system, but... It could be a little cheap if a ban that cost more time cost you even more time.

Technically speaking, the longest ban you can get without being permanently banned is 9 days, so this would be irrelevant. I do think that this is a good idea and I would personally like to see implemented.

Its good but the minimum ban I think is already 24 hours, which would still be one day and one night.

If that's the case, then this is a good idea. :D
