This is an idea that just came to me, after having seen several other threads that also had similar ideas. So here's what I was thinking, there will be a redirector server, no it won't instantly put you onto a different server, I don't think that's possible, but here's what it will do...
You'll join the redirector server [USredirector.mcsg.in, EUredirector.mcsg.in, etc] and there will be a certain waiting list, after a while, you will be automatically kicked with a message reading something like this
"Your reserved slot is on US27.mcsg.in"
With that said, you can then join your reserved slot on US27.mcsg.in. Now, I know this idea may need coaxing, and in fact it will probably never happen due to how complicated this might be, but I figure it's worth getting out there. I'll also have a brief Q&A on this page be sure to check that out.
Q & AQ: What if the player doesn't show up on the server after they receive their server number? It's a waste to have a reserved slot if no one is there!
A: If the player doesn't join that server within a time period [of about 30 seconds aprox] the reserved slot will then be passed onto someone else. There's the odds that the slot might not be used, but highly unlikely.
Q: Won't it be hard to fit all those non donors onto the server?
A: Yes, it probably will, but sooner or later the players have to get a position as their time will come, and they can always join the natural way. And it's not like you squeeze them all in at once, they just join 1 by 1.
Q: What if they're on the forums or watching a video to pass the time, how will they know they've been kicked?
A: Right before they're kicked, there will be some kind of distinguishing sound [Lightning? Still thinking on that]

A: Probably 2, maybe 4 for the 48 player servers
