The sad truth is that in almost every lobby I see at least one or two cheaters. Such as people using sprint cheats, forcefield, aimbots, knock-back, auto attack etc. And that's not even counting the more discrete cheats such as radars, esp, wallhacks, chest finders, mini maps etc (Which I'm sure there would be a lot of people using).

So to the point, the bans being issued atm are 24h and 3 day bans. I think that people should be banned for at least 5 to 7 days and have their stats wiped on first offence.

Why a longer ban?
Because I've even seen people who have previously been banned using blatant hacks again. I won't name names because I didn't get proof but the fact is, I have seen them. So obviously 24h and 3day bans aren't harsh enough.

Why wipe their stats?
People who hack are usually playing to achieve something rather than to have fun. In this case it's to get high on the leaderboards. So by wiping their stats they would be a lot less likely to hack again as it wouldn't seem worth levelling up all over again. Instead, they would either choose to quit playing or realise it's a game and play for fun.

Ok, So actually, first offence Hackers will usually receive a 3 day temp ban. I say usually, not because we ever go below this, but because sometimes we still give a permaban for a first time offence. We never give hackers below a 3 day tempban.

Ok, so think of the banning as a punishment, instead of a means to an end. If we simply wiped their stats, gave them a slap on the wrist and let them continue playing. They would continue hacking, but more descreetly, and work their way back to the top. This comment will be put forward as a suggestion by myself though, regarding the wiping of stats.

Right, so yes these are descreet, and to be honest we can't do anything about these until they are stupid enough to post screenshots etc. All of these are therefore now treat in the same way as before, as people should have read the rules etc.

To round off, we only either give 3 day tempbans or permabans to hackers, depending on how obvious, if its a first offence or not, and how serious the hack is. We will NEVER go below the 3 day tempban. We believe this is a fiar and just way, and gives the player a chance to remove the hacks, and play fairly.

Cheers

That's ok then, sorry for getting that wrong.

Ok thanks for putting this forward, I definitely think it would make a difference. By the way I don't mean replacing permanent bans with wiping stats. I just think that along with the 3 day bans stats should be wiped at the same time as more of a harsh punishment.

Thanks for the reply

Maybe instead of completely wiping their stats, split their stats in half or into 1 third or 2 thirds of what they had before the ban.
