Personally, I think Mod Apps should be accepted on the written language, and the interview, not age.

If you think about it, a 10 year old won't write a super impressive app, or anything like that. A 12 year old probably won't write anything decent, but 13/14+ might actually be mature and suited for the position. Like, I know Tiro applied before the rule was set in stone, but he's young, and he's a great mod right? Proving, that age doesn't mean good results.

And what the hell, age is a number, does it mean anything? I've seen maturer 14 year olds than 21 year olds. Anyway, I honestly don't care what happens with the mod apps.

Yeah, I agree.

But I see why the age thing is in place, to stop annoying 10 year olds from applying.

But seriously, couldn't I just get my 21 year old brother to make a well written application, then get it accepted, and get him to do the interview? Then never go on TS, say my mic is broken, etc. I could basically lie throughout the whole thing.

With the job things, I agree. But most 'part-time jobs' generally require the person to be 13+, isn't a mod on a server technically a part time job?

They could be the best member of staff MCSG ever had. But if they were a year to young, you could've just lost a valuable member. Who knows?
