Recently I have seen many people breaking the rules. Often, they don't know them, as they try to tell me swearing is allowed. I think we need to make the rules more well known. This could be attained by prompting people to read them in the lobby, making a command that showed the rules, or spawning with a book with basic information (as done on many other servers).

Bad idea A People wont read the books B Its just stupid this is why we have moderators and if youre insulting the staff your gonna be in a real awkward position

Mods can't be everywhere. This would help limit people breaking the rules. While we have mods for when people break the rules, wouldn't it be better if no one did?
Also, I'm not sure where you got the impression that I was insulting the staff. That wasn't intended at all.

I strongly disagree -_- Might as well give them the book, seeing as mods can't be on every server to recite the rules. I'm sure enough people will read the book to make it worth it.

I like the book idea. Wether the players read it or not isnt a problem as if they are found breaking the rules they wount be able to give as excuse they dont know them because they receive a book with them evertime they are in the lobby.

Good idea! :)
Its a good way to give mods a break from having to repeat the rules every five mintues :D

Maybe could we get a moderator's opinion on this?

Also having the rule board in the center of the FYREUK lobby would help...

But the book no one would read, and it wouldn't be spammy if it was 1 rule per minute.
They would have no excuse for not knowing the rules if they didn't read the book (as everyone is supposed to). And if the rule broadcast was infrequent enough not to be spammy, it wold be kind of pointless. It might work, though.

I really like the idea of a rule book. It gives perfect cause for punishing those who do not know the rules, as it means they are refusing to read what they are. If you ask me, refusing to understand and learn the rules really doesn't work...anywhere...ever.
