How much do you think a PC will cost to run minecraft on lowest possible settings and get around 80+ fps?I was making an analogy, because I doubt you can buy a computer under $500 which can run at a smooth 100 fps..

False. Only when using G-SYNC or FreeSync monitors is this true.Okay so - Unless you have a monitor that has a refresh rate of at least 100Hz, there is no point trying to get 100 FPS. Your monitor will most likely only have a refresh rate of 60Hz (with means it can only display 60 FPS).
Cheers, this looks very good, appreciated.

The pentium in this build has extremely good performance when overclocked, and you should be able to push it to 4-4.5 GHz. Benchmarks on similar builds have easily reached 100-200fps on lowest settings.
Whoops, xD http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fwygRBI play csgo but my laptop runs that smoothly with low settings I just have a problem with minecraft. haha you got the link to the build or? cheers
I'd recommend a 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive instead, upgrade the Power Supply to a XFX or SeaSonic Power Supply, change the CPU to an i5 6500 and remove the cooler as the CPU comes with one that does the job fine. Otherwise this is pretty good! @nahWhoops, xD http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fwygRB
^ That build will run any low - mid range game super smoothly, and any high end game on low setting fairly well. Keep in mind that you want something that will work well now, and later if you start playing other games.
