Ever since I joined MCSG, I thought that the waiting process to go into Pre-Game was pretty long...but I could live through it. But now, since it's only SG4 and Breeze, I pretty much want either a one minute lobby, or NO LOBBY AT ALL. What that would mean is: No voting, and no preparations. A completely random map. The reason I would prefer that over what's being added to MCSG v2, is that no matter what you do, the noobs are always going to skip the good maps, and go straight to SG4. Is this possible? Also, I want feedback. Also also, I just want to add that this is only my opinion, so don't rage at me ;)

Fushi -_- Have you not seen the 30+ suggestions complaining about this.... They all get denied for the same reasons.
  • 5 minutes is a solid amount of time to blow of steam and take a break.
  • It gives players time to skip ( :( ) and vote.
  • It gives us time to team.
  • Lets us focus on rl for a minute to go to the bathroom or get food. (or both at once if your strange)
  • It allows players to leave, and for new players to join
  • IF this was done, it would be much MORE hard for non-donors to play, therefore causing more spam on the forums.
  • Let's me find some music to play on repeat for the 10 - 30 minute game.
  • Let's us enjoy the lobby.
I highlighted the more important ones, I'm sorry but I really doubt that this will be changed, especially to 1 minute, that's incredibly short....

i see what you mean, but...i think if they keep the timing, there should be RANDOM map choices, it's not always breeze.

I would say that 3 minutes would be good because it gives time to set things up(If you record or something like that), and it gives you time to go to the bathroom or something :p. Plus, MCSGv2 is coming soon, so hopefully that means a variety of maps :)

When you die in the first couple of minutes of a game you don't want to wait another 6 minutes to start >.<

I still think 5 minutes is perhaps a it too long, but some time is needed just to take a break between games and do other things.

And as to the always Breeze and SG 4 complaint, it's being fixed in MCSGV2 (which is sounding like the best update evar).

Agreed! It is beyond long enough. Trouble in Mineville has 2 minute lobbies and it makes a more smooth experience by any player not having to wait a long time and complaining. BUT this can make for all of the games being Live-Game and less in lobby, this may seem like a easy avoidable variable but if we do reduce it we may need to have more lobbies.
