I don't know what you are asking for 1), but for 2) you can type /sidebar minimize to make the sidebar smaller, and then type it again if you want to enlarge it again.

I believe you are trying to ask how long you should wait to Re-pay for Platinum if you use the monthly payments?

1) If thats what you are asking, Just wait for the rank to expire (30 days) once it expires, and you loose your in game rank, just re-pay.

Yes, you can minimize the sidebar by doing /Sidebar Minimize in game.
