PLEASE tone down the point loss

so here's what drives me to say this. today when i was playing a game i noticed that i have that shift click bug, it was pretty early in the game and i had some pretty nice gear (iron pants iron helm stone sword and some bowls) so i decided to be nice and find the nearest person and /suicide i had a stone sword in my hand so that intimidated them so they hit me and i ran. after i /suicided i lost a whopping 39 points! (to someone who had approximately 200 more points than me) i would've been fine with losing 8 points with that. this has been a constant issue with me and i find that the point distrubution system is a bit buggy or just totally off either way can you try to fix the "problem" i mean if this is intentional please tell me.

just some more background- Ive lost significant amounts of points before and it is generally people who have a higher score than me (+200) and its made my rank go down a lot i just want to know if there's a reason or if its all planned to people will have to be constantly on to break even on their points.

[EDIT] i lost 95 points in 2 games.... by someone who was not 200 above me but 400 above me i won around 3 games in a row and then all the progress was taken away from people who have HIGHER scores them me! PLEASE!!!!!!!! fix the points its really pissing me off that the points are going to the HIGHER players not the lower players....

[EDIT] i had exactly 453 points than i got killed by someone who had 658 points I LOST 50 Bloody POINTS WHATS UP WITH THAT!!!! just because i win one round dose NOT mean i should lost as many points as i got the prev round! this is pissing me off so much PLEASE FIX THE POINTS. now im getting the feeling that i should just get some good stuff and camp on the corner of the map then in the DM examine if i have a good chance or not and /suicide and not lose points, just get the points for killing people

I'm competitive about these things and I like them, so I still find it unfair. But I just learned that to fix the inventory glitch where whenever you click on something in your inventory it goes either to the top part of your inventory or the hotbar? You press the RIGHT SHIFT and it fixes it. This worked for me

Those in high level take more points than others.... One game I was killed by one with 400 points on spawn (he got a iron sword) and lost 20 points, and another time a guy with a stone sword (I had chain armor) and I lost 2 points! And it was near the end

I just lost 47 points for someone with full armour while i only had leather helmet and we had same weapon. I was already down to 2.5 hearts before he started hitting me too. That is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too much, for that awfully unfair death. Chad has never replied to any of the posts for making people lose less points and there are so many that I can't see how he can refuse.

this happens to me too i lose INSANE amounts of points for losing more or less unfair battles and the person who kills me is always has a WAY higher score than me.
