What would be considered staff impersonation

To any staff member:

Hey I was hoping you could settle a troubling thought I had. If someone were to catch a hacker, record their obvious hacks and then after that's all said and done, tell them "Get Banned" would that be considered staff impersonation? In no means are you leading on to them that you are a staff member. You are just implying that they are going to "Get Banned" by a staff member who looks at the evidence. I was hoping you could clear this up for me. It is just a hypothetical situation that I'm sure is quite common in the minecraft worlds. So please respond asap if you would be so kind to do so. Alright so from past experience I recall it being anything along the lines of the following :

• Player 1 : "Is there a Staff member online?"
• Player 2 : "Yes, I am a member of Staff."

The user has to state that they are a member of Staff. If someone asked for a member of Staff and a user offered to help them, that would not cut it.

In all honesty that is all there is too it. The user has to state that they are a member of Staff (Either Moderator, Senior Moderator, Administrator, Developer or Owner. I could have missed something, so it's time to summon the server Gods... Ceroria Vanicle | Vanessa Axel | PlazaGames.

Staff impersonation would be defined as well, impersonating the staff!

Examples would consist of "I am a mod", "Do not hack or I will ban you because I am a mod", "Stop talking or else I will mute you because I'm a mod", etc.

Basically, telling people that you're a staff member even though you're not isn't allowed.

By what you said, "Get Banned", shouldn't count as impersonating the staff, as you are not implying that you are a staff member.
