Map makers should get some reward.

I was thinking, I am making a map right now for mcsg. Is there any reward for doing something like this and if the community/chadthedj likes it, I think you should get something in return. Maybe some kind of doner, VIP ect. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be that kind of person who wants to be rewarded on everything he does, I just think there should be at least something for all the hard work putting into a map. Of course, I will still give the map for trial either way, it was just a suggestion I was thinking.

I think they get Builder, but that's all I know anyway.

I like the idea. Maybe a blue "Mapmaker" or "Builder" or, if you made, say, Karmunrah, a blue "Karmunrah"?
I don't know, I like the idea though. Great to see people recognized for their work.

I agree. It isn't easy to make a map, and only to have your map on the servers isn't enough of a reward, in my opinion. Making a map requires hard work, and talented builders. Give them something they can strive for.
A blue name (or something?) shouldn't be too hard to add for mapmakers.

Maybe not getting VIP but just a blue name since coloured names look cool and people would recognise them as map builders - no perks needed.
Note; Blue was just a colour suggestion

Imagine there wasn't any communtiy maps here. No Breeze Island. Yes, you heard me. No Breeze Island...
No Teweran SG, no Solar Frost. Mapmakers make maps for this community for free, without any reward at all except having your map on the servers. The mapmakers are an important part of the community, and I don't understand why it should be too hard for them to have some blue names. Mods, Senior Mods and Admins has got red names, VIP's has got purple names. Even donours have got their own name colour tag, why shouldn't community map makers also get a coloured name?

Do not take it for granted that the servers will be fed with good community maps. People does it for free.
Why not just give them a blue name? Look at TeamElite. A building team of some of the best builders in the TIMV and MCSG community. They work hard everyday to make maps. The main builders of a map should recieve something to be proud off. Something that tells everybody: "I was a part of building a community map."
Give them the reward they deserve, as one of the most creative, artistic and important parts of the community.
