Leaderboard reset/hall of fame

No reset. Just keep one leaderboard for all- time stats, and one that resets month-to-month

I think it would be nice to see a reset leaderboard. That would give other players to climb up to the number 1 spot.
Right now that's almost impossible.

I like the idea of a reset (even though I'm high at tw Monent ) it will allow other players to reach number one spot (300 wins for me -.-) and also will wipe non playing players off and still allow them to be on a hall of fame. Sounds great, love the idea

This is like LoL, which would be sweet, I think I suggested a similar idea a while ago, but with additional prizes, like in LoL, you can get skins by the end of the season, and also Silver, gold, platinum, lets call them medals.

I really like this idea, as then people who has had loads of wins (iFrox) that dont play much anymore, will get rewarded for their actions, while others are still able to reach up there without some little bugger always having a bit more wins because they started earlier.

I really like this idea.

I favor the lifetime kill section of the leaderboards option, so someones progress isn't lost every year, and here is

-Maybe you could even have a total wins, and a season/annual wins section added to the leaderboards. The leaderboards would only count the seasonal/annual wins for the ranking but the total wins would be displayed for an easy way to see your lifetime kills.

Why:
People work very hard on these servers, and from my own experience, whenever a server reset or started fresh on a new survival map, that was the end of the server, because people had spent so much time, even though they knew they c0uld come out on top if they really try, just they didn't want to really try and do the whole thing again, hence people quit and the server had not nearly enough people and the server wasn't able to sustain.

To keep both the yearly reseting and the save a person's progress (which most of the people want based off of what I heard), Adding a lifetime section of the leaderboards would be a great thing to do because it gives people a chance to get on top, and they get to save their progress, which if they lost their progress most people would be

devastated

In my opinion, if only the hall of fame option was added, do not put just the top 100 players in, don't name it hall of fame either, just name it 2012 records, and save everyone with at least a win in another database, and all a players information (lifetime and annual) can be accessed from a person leaderboard information page http://uslb.mcsg.in/user.php?user=Steve

And if what I'm describing is implemented, you can get feedback to see what exactly needs to be changed, because i wrote this based off of the rumors and what people were telling one other on the servers.

I actually really like some of these ideas. I'd hate to see everyones work go to waste if they just...reset. Giving them a reason to still care for the wins yet keeping the leaderboards more accurate would be nice.

Although...with the new daily, weekly, monthly etc statistics coming with the new leaderboards soon, I'm not sure it's really needed. Those who do great now will still show up in the leaderboards under monthly, unless it's rank they are looking to get...I guess there is still a lot of people who need cleared out of the top 100...and even further.


If the leaderboards ever reset, I do hope something is done to "reward" them. A hall of fame is good enough in my opinion.

Maybe the #1 player that year/month could be given diamond donator? You should give hardcore players a goal to achieve by the end of the year/month.

I personally resetting the leaderboards is a good idea. I have a lot of friends high on the leaderboards that want to be in the top 10 with TheMegaRyan17 and Hiqhlights. But this seems like just a dream to all of them. Why does it? Because Megaryan and people alike played this game a long time before anyone else did, Why do you think ZeeJayy was in number 1 for so long? Because he played a lot and started early in this game
