tbh the tryhards came out on this post, tbh I hate mini mods on the forums and such that crawl every corner looking for something to report, it's obnoxious when most of them won't even get mod. And mini mods bother me, stop thinking you're something you're not
They are something tbh their the future members of the staff team.

Ok, I can gurantee you theres been 300+ tryhards who have came for the rank and haven't gotten it, maybe more. The only people I can think of is 3, and they grew on me. You can tell the difference between someone who is here for the red name or someone who is here to help, like Miner9823 . No one accussed him of being a tryhard because he helped in his own way, and was very intelligent about it. And also, it bothers me when I see

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM INSULTING YOUR FELLOW COMMUNITY MEMBERS

No one accused him of being a tryhard because he was popular and liked as well.

But does that make somebody a good mod? Couldn't that be called tryharding as well? It just looks like hypocrisy honestly..
Ehh, he's not going around telling people to be nice, and reminding everyone of the rules.

That's because this community is extremely toxic and has rule breakers everywhere. They're being helpful to the community, even if you know the rules already doesn't mean it hurts to hear it again.
No, but he doesn't go around saying "STOP FLAMING THREAD LOCKED".

Is there a constitution that says there is free speech anyway? There's no Bill of Rights, you just have to put up with stuff. While these things can be annoying they don't really matter that much and it's better to simply overlook it. Block them if you don't want to see their posts.

Really, who even cares if people 'tryhard' to be a mod... SO WHAT!!! if they piss you off, press F1..... and if they do get mod for their own personal gratification they wont last too long at the job, they eventually get sick of having to do the work or their faults are exposed. So why complain about these so called minimods? (imo this is a totally bs term), unless you're jealous that they attract more attention than you do or want? Who gives a crap if a person/mod is 'popular' as long as they do their job adequately. It's just a game, lol these people aren't moderating your life away from the screen.

I thought we were complaining about minimods, if you're against how some mods don't have the best approach to dealing with situations then I completely agree. The minimods who tell people to stop flaming, they're not doing anything wrong. I mean is it such a bad thing for members of the community to enforce the rules as well as staff? It's not as annoying as threads complaining about it, because it's often the stubborn rule breakers who post the threads.

ehh multiple times threads have been locked because flame "could" be started. I guess the topic shifted, see this is what happens when you don't immediately lock a thread that has some flame.
