Hello! I'm here to ask why the % chance of a map being chosen exists. Why I ask this you say? I ask it because its pointless. If we want to play a game, then we should be able to play that game. If there is more votes for something. Shouldn't it be logical to say, that's the map we want to play! Not a map like Survival Games that has 1 vote. Please for the sake of

Stop complaining. The V2 MCG Update was made mostly by the community's preferences... There were a ton of polls and obviously its what the community wanted, and now the staff have much bigger issues than people not getting the map they want one game.

This was actually great, there were some maps that were never picked because the minority that likes less popular maps were being overpowered by mainstream maps like sg4, holiday resort and teweran sg2.. to name a few. Sure, those are played a lot now, but at least there's a small chance the minority will have their wishes granted.

There are many reasons why the raffle voting was implemented (and most likely won't get taken out). However, I'll list a two of those:

1. There are players who like maps that not may be as well-liked by the community. With the raffle system, we give those players a chance to play the maps they want to play. By doing away with the raffle system, it takes away a player's voice in choosing which map they want (especially if that map isn't well-liked). Isn't the point of your post to give players what they want?

2. It gives you a chance to play maps that you wouldn't otherwise play. By doing this, it exposes you to new maps that you may find that you actually like. If you keep playing the same maps and you don't try anything else, there's a high potential you're missing out on a lot of potential fun.

Also, might I remind you the raffle system was voted in to SG by the community. It's staying as of right now, and most likely won't be removed in the future.

Hey there!

Let me explain, the reason why the voting system was changed. It is because new added maps haven't been played. People would usually vote for Valleyside or SG 4 et cetera. Nowadays, I saw Mockingjay a couple of times with 0 votes although the map looks fantastic. You know you're not the only one who complains about this, if the voting system was changed once again on your wish, a lot of people would complain about it just like you're doing now.

Also just to mention this, with this voting system there's a chance that we will play either on my voted map or yours. If MCGamer changed the voting system the most voted map would be the one played.
