Make points optionally private?

Ok, so anyone who has a decent amount of points (1000+), knows that nubs will sometimes troll them for kills if they know how many points they will get for winning. I know that points don't mean much and it's all about wins, but it stills annoying having people troll after you just because they get good points for killing you.

So I say make the point system private for players who want it. Don't show it on highscores or in lobby or when they do /records. Lemme know what you guys think .

No because if you want a lot of points then you have to develop a skill to maintain/increase on those points. If you could private your points then you basically can also say you have no points. And like you said.

I know that points don't mean much and it's all about wins

It is all about the wins, but nubs don't know that and they will troll you to death lol. you can't win if some nub is trolling you all game when you don't have a weapon, just so they can get a quick 50 points from you. And where is the problem with saying you have no points? They will find out when they kill you if u were lying or not . Minecraft hunger games is a game of deception and betrayal... we all know this.

The only thing is you wouldnt be able to get points either. if you don't care about points just bounty them off.

you still get points for killing players.. you just won't be able to see the amount of "bounty" someone has unless you kill them. Very simple.

And it's not important.. but that doesn't mean I want to just give them away lol.

Just not talking wouldnt help because all they have to do is do /records on you. I feel like it should say like "private" or something.

i agree i had 1000 points and in a week i now have 830 because of people trying to make a quick few points, i think they should make it so everyone loses 5 -10 points on death
