Christmas throwback?

Hey, I've never been good at posting my ideas, but I hope I get my point across.

As you all know SG4 and Breeze Island are very overplayed(They're great maps, just not great when played 5+ times in a row) Anyway, I've played MCSG since the begining(When there were 7 servers and it wasn't very hard to get onto any of them) and I really want to feel the nostolgia of the original maps again. I was thinking, do some kind of a christmas special, and change 7 - 12 servers so they can only play map 1 2 and 3, and turn off voting til christmas. I know people won't want to quit playing SG4 and Breeze, that's why only a few servers should be changed.
This may seem silly to most of you, but I'm sure some of the old players will want to play the original 3 again and it would be nice to be able to do this.

Confused at why this would be bad, I just want to play the old maps again. It would just be a nice kind of christmas gift to all of the old players on the server.

This is a great idea. Since most people want Breeze and SG4, they will avoid 7-12, making it easier for players like us to play on the usually jam-packed servers.

Aside from nostalgia, the original maps really are good, too

and one change, keep the maps the same, but make it snowing XD

Yes, just enough to (hopefully) get people to see the beauty and fun of the first few maps and maybe vote for them a little more rather than spamming "SKIP IF U R C()()L!!!11!!" if SG4 and Breeze aren't options.

Point is, there is 0 variety right now, atleat this will give us a bit of underused content.
