1.) For One MCSG shouldn't Take out old maps but should add more maps. Also In Call Of Duty they have 24/7 lobbies in which one map is played every game. MCSG should take that into consideration and Make 24/7 lobbies Example ( Par 72 24/7) that Lobby number will always be Par 72.
We don't take out old maps, if we did Breeze Islands, Survival Games 2, etc. would be removed, what we do remove is maps that are never played, the maps that the community doesn't vote for, because.... What's the point of having them if nobody likes to play on them? Also, the 24/7 server idea would make things over-complicated, so I don't see that happening.
2.) MCSG should hire mods based on their level of Responsibility. Not how well they can write or speak. Many mods apply for perks like more votes and donor for free. they barely are on the server and if they are, they are 50% of the time AFK. Many do not reply to donors or regular players, But only to YouTubers and other Staff.
MCGamer does consider Moderators on their levels of responsibility, the Sr. Staff have just released a new template covering that, and even before that, they look for many things in people during an interview, including responsibility, if a staff member does not help out the community, complete any bans, mutes, or kicks, and ignores people, they will most likely be demoted, or at least spoken to based on the situation.

The thing you don't understand, is not all Moderators are going to be on at the same time, some will be sleeping, hanging out with friends, at a relatives house, on leave, on vacation, etc. Also, some Moderators focus more on TeamSpeak Moderating and forum Moderating, and some have to host or take part in events, so we can't all be in-game at the same time.
3.) All Servers have hackers and cheaters. MCSG is a Big Community with many hackers. The best way to stop them is to use Coding and Plugins. My Friend hired someone who made his server plugin. To join the server you have to be using a Normal Minecraft or Optifine Client. Therefore No Hackers can Join the server. MCSG should make a similar plugin.
If we could just "code away" all the hackers, we would.
4.) Blocking out words and Threats in chat. MCSG should block out curse words and threats simply to ensure a better Community and Happier players.
We do! It's called the profanity filter, and when someone bypasses it, they're punished.
5.) Strict Punishment. Many people break rules and get away with it. Players no matter who they are should all face the same punishment for breaking the same rule.
Moderators all follow the same guide, we don't customize punishments to our personal preference, and the punishment increases every time they repeat the offence.
6,) More Ranks. MCSG should make Newer and better ranks. Example 1 Day Donor Pass 1 Dollar. Donor for 1 Day same as iron donor should be called Stone Donor. Between Gold and Diamond Redstone rank lasts 6 Months same perks as Diamond.

Regular Player - Free
Stone Donor $1 - Lasts 1 Day
Iron Donor $10 - Lasts 1 Month
Gold Donor $25 Lasts 3 Months
Redstone Donor $40 - Lasts 6 Months
Diamond Donor $75 - Unlimited
Platinum Donor $100 - Unlimited
Quantum Donor $200 - Unlimited
And So on Thanks For Taking time to Read this.
We're working on adding more ranks, but they're not going to donor ranks. We have enough of those.

If you have any further questions, or concerns feel free to contact me on the forums via PM, have a nice day within the MCGamer Community!

i think the biggest one out of all of these is the teaming one. SO many people randy team on this server its insane! i was just in a game and killed someone and the other 2 teamed on me cuz they thought i was "hacking" not my fault i got lucky with the 1.8 hits! and then they killed me and said "eZ, get good hacker" and im not even a hacker!!!! so this is why i said they should do a temp ban for those disrespectful comments. also i feel with the mods paying more attention, i feel they respond faster to donors and leave the unranked in the dust. i have done an experiment with a friend and proved this! i really hope these changes are made to MCSG, and the staff realizes these changes can help there community out!

Teaming will always be a part of the game. If you can't beat them, you might as well join them. If you ever want to play with someone, you can always hop on our TeamSpeak and you will probably find plenty of people willing to play with you. :p
Also, if you catch a moderator not doing their job please report it to Sr. Staff via the forums or TeamSpeak. Have a good day! c:

1. MCSG should not accept maps that have a radius larger than 275 blocks. (IDK if this is true)

These maps are way too big and it could end up with a thirty minute game and even longer if the people in DM are running. Those games could take longer than some of my Fairytail episodes ;(

2. Teaming in DM.

So far out of the last 5 games that I have played, they has been a team (random or nah) in my DM. You should try to incorporate an FFA rule during DM.

3. Mods (Not smexy mods like NotPing)

So I've recently asked a question about a client modification (Gamma), and it comes to me to think that most of these mods that are available are slightly unfair. Optifine has a zoom key, Armor HUD shows the durability without even opening you inventory, and the rant continues.

1. I agree for new maps, as long as it only applies to 24-man games.
2. Teams will always happen, and even if you were forced to FFA in deathmatch, the team would still try to kill you first.
3. Optifine zoom really isn't that useful. If you want to be pro with the bow, use 30 FOV instead, since that is actually better than optifine zoom for archery. Armor HUD doesn't seem like that big of a deal, since you can F5 to see your armor, and your inventory shows durability as well. Unless you are doing the full gold armor challenge, durability should not matter. Basically all of the allowed mods are hardly advantages, and if they don't make you PvP better, they don't really impact gameplay.

I'm not at home right now, so I'll try to remember to post a response here when I get back, but answer me this first. How would solo servers work? How would you structure the separate leaderboards for the two? How would you determine if people are teaming? The reason we haven't done this is because there will be too much confusion and grey area. Teaming is part of the Survival Games, and the Hunger Games itself. To take that away is changing the game too drastically from how they were originally supposed to work. Remember, SG is not about tryharding for stats, it's for having fun. With or without friends.

For your other points, I couldn't agree more. The community is what makes up this network and we should focus on doing what the community wants to see on our network (within reasonable limits of course) and not doing so would be a mistake. Over the last couple of years the community and staff has grown farther apart and I and a few other staff members are working on creating events to better the connection between the staff and our players; starting with the revamping of the Community Games :)
Ceroria I respect you as a Mod and you are a very good one, but your point about MCSG being fun and teaming is part of the game. Ever thought about the people who aren't having fun because of the teams. I know this is a tough subject but please think about people the people on the other side of this dilemma, the extra effort of 2 servers could end up saving MCSG. Im not trying to come off as arrogant but please listen to my point and think about those people who aren't fufilling the fun purpose due to ridiculous amount of teams in games. And I bet you've lost a lot of games (I see the losing streak your on in your stats) to teams. I hope you read and consider this.
