So today, I was trying to connect to the forums, right? And I use a domain that goes by mcsg.in because it takes me to the forums, and its shorter, but it says its not available, you see, and then I tried connecting with xime.io, another domain, and its not available. Now, its not my internet. When it says its not available, it says no reason, it just... says its not available. Does any see this coming into effect with them, and does anyone know why?

Strange because yesterday I couldn't connect at all through mcsg.in (what I usually use because it's quick to type). I just tried it now and it worked fine, but that's a little strange. Try doing this later and seeing if it works for you c:

Here are details for xime.io:

The server at xime.io can't be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website's name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

Here are details for mcsg.in:

Google Chrome cannot reach the website. This is typically caused by network issues, but can also be the result of a misconfigured firewall or proxy server.
Access a cached copy of http://mcsg.in/

The cached copy is jacked up, so...

Hmmm... that's odd. Maybe they were removed?

I usually used mcsg.in because it was shorter and the same thing happened. I assume they no longer use mcsg.in because they have rebranded to MCGamer a while back. (mcgamer.net works).

It appears that some DNS records associated with these domains that redirected to web pages have been removed (likely for the rebranding reasons listed by SmoothPixels above). The xime.io records were removed quite a while ago, actually. Any successful connections made after the removal was likely from information stored in your DNS Resolver Cache.

In other words, you'll need to connect using either http://mcgamer.net or http://minecraftsurvivalgames.com. I'm sorry that this isn't quite as convenient as the smaller addresses.
