Let people use 1.8 and 1.7!

1.8 has the most glitches with items like for example

I think the devs should allow 1.8 and 1.7 as you can see 1.8 is not the best for anything this is terrible how the bows and rods look. All the PvPers use Rods and Bows and this hole server is based off of PvP this is what the server is about. If its best for the server I think you guys should let us play on what we want.

I agree with the complaints on an average decrease in fps, not being able to see when you hit someone, not seeing people past your render distance, random drops to 5fps, etc.

However, I don't understand what the big deal is with the rod and bow textures. I mean, they still fundamentally function the exact same way. And I don't know about you guys, but when I fight, I'm not staring at my bow and rod textures; I am looking at where the action is occurring.
