No. Thank You. For bringing up another thread about an issue like this. It is most likely not going to change and you should put this under the suggestions forums. DM is supposed to be an all out brawl with whatever you managed to supply yourself with throughout the game. Bringing in tactics like this might ruin it for the people who deserve to win based off of their in game performance. Stay the same!

I agree completely with this. There was another thread about this a while back, started by zeejayy, and it received overwhelming positive support (including some from several mods and Sr. Mods). I'm not sure what ended up happening to that thread, but I'm sure change is possible if the idea were to be pushed.

And I don't feel that people 'deserve to win off their game performance' if by game performance you mean the amount of gear you've gotten. In that case, you cold easily just have a good chest route, have a teammate, or otherwise get good stuff without needing to actually be good at the game. Now, if an underdog, facing a team with good gear in Deathmatch, manages to kill them both using superior tactics (flint in and steel usage), deserves to win more than the people who simply have good gear, wouldn't you agree?

Except flint and steel, apparently.

Running through fire like an idiot is also part of your in-game performance.

I'm very much in support of this- as a player that has a computer that gets over 20FPS at a stretch, and even when I get around 50, I have enough lag to sink a ship and make the players shoot from one side of the screen to the other in one move. Flint and steel makes it SO much easier for us players with lower range computers, when it is very hard to hit players with a sword (and pretty much impossible with a bow) for us.

Agreed. A part of my performance I need to work on... :p

I do really want flint and steel to work in deathmatch...it can be a life saver against teams, especially when they stick together like glue, which they are more likely to do in deathmatch than at any other time. I see no reason for flint and steel to not work in deathmatch...

You let me down, only 1 paragraph..
Jk ;)
Anyways, I am in complete support of this. It would help for those with inferior gear to those of superior gear. Also, I agree to what Le0 had pointed out.

I am completely for this, flint 'n steel working in deathwatch might actually get me better chances of winning...since using everything else doesn't work
