So I have started playing CoD BO2 a bit more and sometimes I want to talk with friends, but whenever I try to plug my headphones in, it just doesn't work.
I have a Playstation PS3 Slim
Pretty much this

I've tried with my USB headphones by plugging them in the USB socket in the front of the PS3, but it doesn't do anything.
I don't have a problem if I have to buy anything for it to work from ebay, as I'm going to buy some things anyways in a week or so, or if I don't have to buy anything, I would appreciate a tutorial on how to make it work. Thanks.

Are your headphones PS3 compatible? That might be one of the problems.

Have you selected your headphones in the audio setup?

I don't think so...

I tried putting the USB headphones I have firstly in PS3 to see if it actually gets recognized as a device, and it does, but I don't know how to make the headphones and its microphone (the microphone doesn't need a different usb, it goes together with the headphones' usb).

I can't put the jack plug headphones I have in the TV either because they need 2 different usb gates (1 for the headphones and 1 for the microphone), but the TV has only 1 jack plug gate for the headphones.

I know it sounds kind of messed up, but I have to translate everything from Greek to English, as we have different terms about these kind of things.

I found this:
"Use the cable that came with the PS3, attach it to this, and plug headphones into that. Set Video to HDMI and Audio to the third option "Audio Input Connector" or turn on "Audio Multi-Output" to get sound out of the headphones and the TV at the same time."
But I really don't understand a lot >.>

Well I tried finding some stuff about my headphones being compatitle with PS3 and unfortunately they don't so now the only headphones I have now are the ones that instead of having jackplugs have USB. Is there a way putting these ones in PS3? Also, sorry for annoying you so much with all these questions >.>

Hmm, I believe you should be able to put the USB in to the PS3 and use microphone, sadly it'll still use your TV as audio output though.
