Who killed who?

Personally I like how vanilla minecraft servers say who was slain by who. So if this could be implemented into the servers without disrupting the whole cannon fire process that would be great. This could provide some insight as to who is the guy to look out for mid-round. This I think would also be a great addition to the whole competition finder suggested by theoretically.

This would, however, give away who was powerful, which would disrupt the strategy of acting weaker than you are in order to lull people into false senses of security. And really, I don't see any benefits.
Agreed.

Why not just say who was killed, not even say who killed who. Then again with the 'illegal move' thing it kind of does this already.. :3

That's how it was originally. They took it away to make it more frightening when people died

Even then if your constantly pressing tab in-game you can keep track of who's dead or alive. And I don't really go,, when someone dies. (I be trolin :) )

No. This would warn people to stay away from the stronger tributes, therefore ruining an important aspect of the game. As Zeno said, it would ruin the strategy of giving people "a false sense of security". Also, you would know immediately to watch out because your team mate was killed. Often, this can be shown by the person leaving the server immediately after dying or by doing /list and pressing TAB, but it's still an important aspect.

It is currently as it is in The Hunger Games, cannon upon the death and finding out who's dead during the night. This is a good system, it's perfect as it is. The only improvement to death could be to implement corpses, but I don't know how that could be done, maybe inactive zombies like in TIMV or a red name above a non-moving character of their skin, that show who it is and how they died (roughly, like slashed open (for a sword of any kind), hacked into (for axe) or burned flesh (take a guess))

You can also tell who has died by who has left the server and checking TAB during the game, seeing if there are any pros left that you might have to deal with.
