Connecting problems

I keep getting this error when I try to connect to us.mcgamer.net
Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.ReadTimeoutException
I have tried relaunching, Restarting my router and computer. Any help or ideas?

It seems as if the Minecraft Authentication servers are down.

Try reconnecting when they are back up.

I was just informed that the Developers are aware about the issue.

It will be fixed as soon as possible.

I am now going to lock the thread, but PM me if you are still having troubles AFTER the issue has been officially been resolved.
