Books in MCSG to be used as Journals

I mentioned this once, and someone told me to put it into feature suggestions.

I think it would be cool if you could add books into the chests to be used as "journals", "books", or "stories"; so if someone was bored, they could start writing in their book like a journal. If that person would get killed, the killer could read his journal. It would simply be a nice addition for when a tribute is bored, or to pass the time while he's waiting at the cornucopia. And it improves education! Of course, this would have to be after the servers are updated to 1.3.

I see no harm in adding this, it doesn't affect the game at all and it will be fun for the people who do it. Only thing is how many people will actually do this? I know that i probably will never use this mainly because it is too time consuming to write/read stories in the middle of the games. I am never staying at a point for too long, and when I see a chest I get it and get out asap. Writing a journal i think would just be too dangerous xD. But if you do get enough people for this, I will gladly support this for you guys!

I don't know if this would work, But allow spectators to read players journals (Assuming they write in them)
I probably would write in my journal when i'm stuck up a tree with no health waiting out the night, or all alone in the middle of nowhere.

Just IC things like. 'Another night is here, I can hear them...The zombies are here, I have to get to safety fast' or 'I killed..again..I'm still not used to their screams...Stay strong golden, it's them or you now'

Well, good news, writable books are being added in 1.3 (Spoilers ) so at least it wouldn't require a plugin ^_^
But yeah, I like the idea, when there are the last 5-3 players it can get boring to just fly around, reading the angry mobs (players saying to fight, yes I do it as well ) it would give us something to do.

Yeah maybe a plugin can be made so that once you become a spectator, you get a copy of any books that have been written in, and the books might still continue getting updated and new books can come when people write in different books. Sounds like a fun idea to me! It would also give the spectators something to talk about! "Hey, John, have you read Bob's journal yet?" "Yeah! I loved the part where Bob explains his strategy for killing Jennifer!"

Combine this with another idea i saw.
Player bio's.
While spectating you can read up about players on the server.
Thier wins, Their 'awards' , Killstreaks,Favourite weapon ect.

This is a good idea....for example after someone kills me, and i had a book on me, the book could say something along the the lines of "Good fight man, add me on Skye _______" or something a journal as mentioned above....
