Percentage voting system needed

The one thing that made MCSG unique from the hive or any other server was the fact that they had a percentage voting system. That system allowed for a change of maps and each map having a chance to be played as long as it's voted. In v2, MCGamer removed that. It makes donators wayyy to overpowered because a platinum can vote for a map and it will almost all the time be chosen. Without percentages, I've only been playing Solar frost, Alaskan Village, Zone 85, etc. Don't get me wrong I love all of those maps but from playing them so much, I'm getting sick of them. If the percentage system was back, everyone would still get a change of pace with new maps. Please reconsider.

I would just like to point out that the raffle voting thing was relatively new. It was highly suggested and so they added it. However i agree with you, i would love to see raffle voting come back.

Bring it back! Popular votes make every map boring and overplayed. I've only played the new maps ONCE, and I really like those maps. Plus, if Valleyside is in the rotation, it will win. Guaranteed. Abandon all hope of having variety.

Please do!!! I absolutely despise this voting system. If I want the same bad maps over and over I can just go to nexus

it was also highly suggested that it be removed
It was actually 50 50. At the start I must say I hated the raffle voting system because all I cared about was playing the maps I knew and had good routes on. Around 90% of the maps back then never due to the fact that no one knew them and I see this happening in the future (depending on how much longer MCGamer lasts). I get 7 votes (which I don't think is a bad thing) however I have noticed maps like Valleyside University & Survival Games 4 have, once again become the only maps I play now. I believe raffle voting should be brought back.

I think that there is a point where even the best maps get really old.

I'm honestly okay with the popular vote, but it has come to a point where the only popular maps are ones that have good routes. Even then, people are almost afraid to play new maps like Par 72 (which has a TON of tier 2s btw).

Raffle voting made sense, because popular maps were still common, yet others had a chance to get a good map played. When I say good, I mean a good map that isn't voted because no one has chest routes. So it basically stopped people from not wanting to play strange maps (TSG3 is a personal favorite of mine), and kept people from complaining about popular maps being overplayed.

The new system ruined that balance.
If Valleyside was in the rotation, it didn't always win back then.
