Help!I can´t connect since this afternoon!

I don't know why, a friend came by, we played some games, he installed me some stuff before playing(optifine, liteloader and forge, and the minimap) and after a couple of games I can't connect, we tried to fix it but we don't know what to do, I uninstalled and reinstalled everything a million times :S

it might be the fact you installed those mods incorrectly. i recommend trying to reboot mc, you will loose your mods but you can probe play again.

Btw. minimap is not allowed on mcsg so i hope you realise that you can't use it.

Hello!
First off, minimap is not allowed on our servers, and therefore should not be used when logging in. If you were using the client with forge installed, try switching to vanilla. If this doesn't work, be sure there are no problems with your network.

Also, do you have any luck logging into other servers?

Oh, so Minimap is not allowed? I thought such an innofensive thing wouldn't be a problem, I didn't know, sorry! It's maybe that the reason why the server doesn't let me in? Is it enough if I just disable it or should I completely remove it to be able to enter your servers?

I will give it a try, to this and to other servers, to see how it works, and I will come to update after that

PD: After reading those answers the only thing I don't understand is, what is switching to vanilla? I just began playing xD

I just opened minecraft, clicked in disable the minimap, tried to join one of your servers and booom, got this screenshot :S

I will check that website right now, I hope there's a way to play before waiting for the end of the week, I didn't even install the minimap myself (I don't know how to install extras or what for in minecraft actually) and I didn't know there was nothing illegal with my account...

Switching to vanilla basically just means to go back to an unmodded client (the one without forge).

Try Fixing your peer to peer connection. It should fix it I hope. And enable Minecraft in your firewall

You were banned from the MCG Network by one of the staff members for using the mini-map modification because it provides you with a unfair advantage. If you believe your ban was unfair you can always make a ban dispute ( at the link above ) Otherwise you will need to wait 1 week till your ban is up. As for changing your minecraft client to the vanilla profile you will need to follow the steps below. ------>

1. Relaunch minecraft.

2. Once you get to a page that looks like this ----->

you will click edit profile.

3. The third and final thing you will do once you click edit profile is scroll up until you see the latest version of minecraft ( which is 1.8.1 ) You will then click it and you will be ready to go play!
