If I remember correctly, the preview server is using an older player database in regards to the ranking system wherefore it is possible that you do not have your current rank on the preview network. It is not a glitch, but you will probably not receive your new rank anyway since it is only a preview server. Don't worry though, everything should be set up fine once they release the official MCGamer v2 network.
