Hey guys! I'm proud to show you all my map (formerly Rocky Road). It's finally done :)

This map is mainly based on terraforming. There is one parkour area (with a little surprise) and 1 building. I am planning on another solo map in the future, which will be more based around the buildings.

The map is rather small, as I realise that people seem to like the small maps. Survival Games 4 and Breeze Island get voted much more than the other maps. However, you will not notice how small it is when playing, as it feels huge!

Please let me know what you think! I love to hear all types of criticism, and I will try to adjust the map based on what people think.

Downloaded, played. Here's what I think:

1. A couple more buildings/easy-to-spot landmarks, easy to get lost

2. Definitely need more chests as of now

3. Redstone... as of now.

But I love the terraforming. Those stone mountains are hard to climb.

Uh it's ok too much vanilla terrain. Not many buildings. It's kinda like vanilla but SG style. Maybe more pics and I maybe wrong. SG Vanilla style. Like it

Thank you both so much for the criticism :D

1. The goal of this map was to have it mainly terraforming, with maybe a village. I decided that I would probably need more experience with building before putting a load of them into a map. I originally had 2 buildings, but... 1 of them got cut off by the dome so I had to destroy it.

2. Yeah, I was thinking that. Most of the chests are near the edge of the map, to encourage people to explore, and they're usually pretty well hidden.

3. Yeah, there's basically no redstone in this map at all. There was in the house that was destroyed, just some basic hidden room pistons.

There's more pistons in the parkour, but it's very, very basic.

None of it is vanilla, actually. It's all done by me :)

--------------

I realise that I focused way too much on the terraforming on this map. In fairness, that was pretty much my plan.

If I do another solo map, it will most likely be mainly themed around buildings, and hopefully a lot of redstone. However, that may not be for a loooong time, as I am also helping with terraforming on a few other group projects as of now.

I greatly appreciate the criticism though, and I will apply it to my next project, and also other ones I am working on.

Oh right, I thought you meant that I just took some terrain out of a generated Minecraft world and worked on it from there.

People are really annoying now adays, if they think that this is bad, they are stupid, the map looks awesome and the terrain is obviously not vanilla generated as of the mountain structure, I love this map. 9.5/10

Thanks so much! Although to be honest, even I'm ashamed of this map. It was decent for a first try, but it's nowhere near as good as a lot of the maps.

1. It needs landmarks and focused areas. Normally people would put down a village or a small tower, but since you're focusing on terraforming then make some unique landmarks. Otherwise it'll be boring, players won't look over a section of the map and know where to go to next as it's just too, normal.

2. Near the snow area, spread out the snow more downwards the mountain and completely cover the tips in deep snow (covering/replacing the stone).

3. Everything is even! By that I mean spherical and smooth, look at the two hills near cornucopia. It looks very unnatural, maybe as a suggestion link them up?

Terraforming = 0/10
Building = 10/10
Redstone = 5/5

Ignor dat troll ^
