I love having to craft iron swords, diamond armor, etc....

I'm fine with potions, but iron swords and such, eh...

I would love them to be in the games, but sadly i dont see them having chances of actually being implemented due to the fact that it would make speed hackers harder to recoginse, and maybe some people using this potions could also be confused with hackers too :/

That speed hacking point is a great one. I had never thought of that before. However, it would be possible to see the particle effect coming off of a player with a potion, but I guess the average player/hacker reporter would bother getting close enough to see that.

Thanks for your opinions about my point :)
I should also add that some player may be playing with particles deactivated, and if they record that as hacking proof, maybe the player that they will report is actually just using a potion...
Still, other potions could be implemented, its just sad that because of these damn hackers we cant have speed ones :/

I am really on the fence on this one. The only way I could see this being implemented without imbalance is to only use a very select few potions. I see instant damage and health potions being beyond overpowered on a massive scale, since the damage pots ignore armour and the insta health ones would be a damned nightmare to those that have to face the deathmatch "runners."

If they're going to be in the game, Tier 3 chests will need to be very hard to get.. :L

When I think of Tier 3 chests, first thing that comes to mind is potions. I mean it sounds like a generally good idea.

The only potion, if any, should be the most basic instant health.

Why that one, when it's by far the most overpowered out of any of them? I think potions such as invisibility and night vision would both be more interesting, and not serve to make the game nearly as unbalanced as instant health would.

I suggested this too :p

I think it would be a good idea to add at least a few potions in because it adds a whole new dimension to the Games.

Well they would have to spend time drinking it.
