my ping!

hello everyone, i'm from italy and i have 13ms ping on speedtest, why when i do /ping my ping is everytima about 100ms?
my friend have 30ms ping on speedtest and if he do /ping have a ping by 45ms to 60ms.
i use the eterneth cable and only my pc is connected to internet

Speed test is testing you on a locally hosted server, in your town or city. MCSG is hosted in Arizona a believe which is farther from your local server.

It depends on your location relative to the servers. If you friend lives closer to wherever the EU servers are hosted then he/she will get better ping than you. Also, if your internet plan comes with a TV package then the TV takes around 60% of your usage. You and your friend should do a speed test to france and see who's ping is better.

The ping is the time it takes for you to connect to the server in france. Since you live in Italy, you wont exactly get beast ping. And btw doing /ping in game is really innacurate.

i have only internet plan no telephone or tv pakage!

You arent getting 100 ping, the /ping command is really inaccurate. Go to the multiplayer server list, and hover over the green bars next to the server. That ping should be accurate.
