Ingame steve glitch?

Hi,

Ive been experiencing this problem for a while now and it's been really annoying.

When im in an mcsg game I see myself as a steve but everyone else can see my skin just fine.
I can see my skin in the hub ok, but this is getting annoying.

Ive tried just about everything to fix this but nothing seems to be working, any help?

btw i'm using optifine, is that the problem?

That is because of the Minecraft version you're using. Please, try using the other Minecraft 1.7 versions to find one were you can see your skin.

I believe there's a bug with optifine a4 for 1.7.10. You can still use 1.7.10, but just downgrade the optifine to a3. I got the same problem as you, and that's how I solved it.

Upgrading to 1.7.10 worked a charm thanks!!!
I can still use optifine 1.7.10 a4 and not get the glitch, but thanks anyway
