My profile picture will not update to my current avi, and it's really annoying because it shows my current skin avi, but it won't change it to that, it just stays on the avatar I had like 6 months ago

Keep trying - at this time, it is very glitchy, and has been for quite some time.
If you need to, use Gravatar - it's the one method that is consistently working.
Also, make sure the file size isn't too large or small, as I heard somewhere that it can stop it from working.

I don't think gravatar works with Minecraft Skin avatars. I think she's saying it hasn't updated to her new minecraft skin...that's just what I think

I understand that, but she could also take that image and upload it to Gravatar, and use that as a manual last resort.

You'll have to use gravatar to chance your profile picture, as the other option are currently broken.
