Awful Minecraft Connection?

I am not going to lie, my internet is sort of doing the same. I think it could be the host of the servers or Mojang in general.

Funny thing is, the same thing is happening to me. Up until 4 days ago my internet on minecraft is horrible. When I go on google chrome and everything else, it's real fast. Can someone please help, I know it's not the router. Maybe it's just mojang, the authentication servers were down a few days ago.. Idk,

Since this thread relates to a problem I have, I'm going to comment here and hopefully get help [:

I noticed that I get knockbacked very far for some weird reason. I tested this with a few friends. First things first, I wanted to know my hit radius; I can hit people from 3 blocks away. I also tested how many blocks do I knockback someone and how many blocks would people knockback me; I would get knockbacked 5 blocks away with a critical and I would only knockback 2 blocks with a critical. Now, the same volunteers knockbacked someone else —with worse MS than me— and he would only be knockbacked 3 blocks.
How is this even possible? I get 50-60 ms daily, but I get knockbacked so far by a decent amount of players. I'm not even getting a bad connection, but I get knockbacked so far? It only happens on MCSG.
It really affects me on PVP, I just get comboed like nobodies business..

Anyone knows why does that happens to me? c:
