What if I don't want to use this feature? It seems kind of unnecessary as we have things like Skype, and TeamSpeak, and when I'm not on those it means I want to play 100% solo, and I'm not moderating for some strange reason, perhaps to record a video.

Perhaps a toggle for this feature if it is implemented.
Of course, Because you are extremely skilled.
There could a option where you can turn off friend requests.
Yes, I agree that an idea to turn off the system is a great idea
Added to the post :)

This idea sounds really interesting! And I believe spam wouldn't be an issue if someone had a command like: /ignore {username}. And to see all the users they have ignored do: /ignore list. :p

Or it can be that only VIPs + can send friend requested to moderators and staff.
Normal players will be limited to all the donors, this will stop spam insanely.
What if you're a normal player/donor, but your friend is a moderator?

That's where the one time request idea comes in place. If someone adds you, and you're online, It tells you once. If you're offline and someone adds you, it doesn't tell you until you check your list of requests at /friend requestlist

Spam would definitely be a major problem. Maybe, if someone declines your friend request, you need to wait an hour to send the same person another request.

Nice suggestion. Possibly a sound too? When you're in a game you wont always be concentrated on the chat. There should also be a /acceptall or /denyall command. Lastly, you should have a command that make it so you don't receive a message in the chat when someone sends you a friend request. Because YouTuber's would be getting a request every second.
As for your first part about spam, it is only sent once. Then they can't send the same person any more requests. That's when the person receiving the request can check at /friend requestlist. For the second part, you are able to turn it off.
