A lot of people take advantage of the /stats [/d player name] to tell if a player is really disguised, a solution to this problem could be giving the disguised player someone else's stats, and putting their name on it, temporarily of course, so TheCreeperFarts, or a Moderator, could disguise and have my stats, but the name and rank is player, and the name is the disguised name.

I'm not experienced at all within Java, and Plugin programming, so I don't know how easy this would be... although this could cause a lot less "revealing" of disguised players, and disguise staff.

Example: If you did /d and your name became; blueberrypie2134

If I were to do /stats blueberrypie2134 I would get a random players stats, not "this player does not exist." or a related message.

I believe 'Fraud' is illegal in most places in the world so I'm sorry but I doubt this would be a new plugin thing MCSG gets or something :(

I'm pretty sure the reason this wouldn't happen is the same thing with skins for disguised players.

MCGamer would have to own every disguised account name.

I agree that /d [stats] is annoying, but showing someone else stats would be wrong. I think they should code something that shows random stats that look legit. Not sure how hard this would be though.

It would involve a whole lot of math. Randomized numbers would work, but they would have to meet certain criteria, which could be arranged.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't fraud only illegal if you gain something of value or someone else loses something of value?

Better Solution: Make it so you can't figure out the disguise by doing /stats tab or /Whisper tab and when you disguise in Hub, make it so it doesn't show your real name and make it show your disguise name when you join a game.

I though they already did this, I was in a Moderator Chat today on TeamSpeak and we all were discussing it, but none of us had our Minecraft's open, so we could really check! xD

The only problem I think would be wrong with this one, is the fact that someone might end up with a 190/186, or something like 95543/92432734 but it would be fixed by putting some sort of boundary on it....

I'm not saying you would become the player.... If this isn't what you mean could you please explain in further detail as I couldn't really understand what you meant.

I'm actually not going to write a lot here. I think the biggest problem is if I don't like, lets say Nephilim.

One day, I disguise as him.

If I start saying, "I'm going to DDoS the servers" (this is an example mods, please don't take this literally Sean) and someone screenshotted it it, what evidence would stop this player from getting banned?

It could cause a lot of issues. Though honestly I would love to disguise and accidentally turn up as Gravey4rd. Then I would still get
targeted wouldn't I.

Wait, I just realized... that's another problem. The idea of being disguised is to prevent targetters. What if you turn up as darkai202. You would still be targeted :(

I feel it may be better as it is.

Edit: I miss read your thread, I thought you meant you would disguise as a random player and you would have there stats.

I was about to write you a long message about what the thread was really about, than realizing what you said in your Edit. :p Thanks for understanding! xD

People who give out others disguises should risk to get punished for it. The /disguise feature was made for a reason and that one was and still is being able to play a game without getting targeted or harassed all the time. I know that VIP's have silent join, which is very useful for the big YouTubers out there, but smaller and yet not that small YouTubers like Lovelights suffer a lot from people who give out their disguise. If it is possible, MCGamer should make a new rule which states that giving out others disguises can be punished. I am not saying that players who do this should get banned for it, but they at least deserve to get muted. If you spam the chat for example, you risk to get muted as well. Why not do the same for revealing disguises? People will definitely think twice before telling everyone in the lobby that their favorite YouTuber has joined, if they know the rules of course.

I'm pretty sure, on TeamSpeak Dave told me revealing disguises is against the rules, and bannable, I'm trying to find this rule in the rules right now, if it's not there... I hope it's added soon!

I don't find it either.

Maybe you could consider revealing someone's disguise breaks this rule? :p

It probably isn't but it should definitely become an official rule or it should at least be explicitly mentioned in the rules.
