Me and many other people have come to the conclusion that wayyy too many community maps are being added. What's worse is, they aren't that good. So my post is about the favt that maybe we should remove them. Like seriously, 1 Vareide map added, 4 community? too many new maps at once makes it difficult. i would prefer to just go back to the old maps, but having SG 4 as well. anyone agree?

First off, whats bad about them. I can't agree with you if I don't know whats ticking you off in the first place.

and Second, what about the other 3 valarde maps, that should be enough valarde maps for you.

Third, some community maps are good (Kharmunrah, for example, breeze may be if it wasn't over played) and some are bad (MCSG Ruins and Overgrown for example) its like a roll of the dice and hope that chad hasn't gone crazy (like he was when he added Ruins, seriously, vanila terrain, is it to much to add a little teraforming?).

Forth, you spelled fact wrong and forgot to caplitze your I and your Too.

Fifth, their maybe 6 community and 4 professional maps, but get rid of Breeze(good map, way to over played), Ruins, and/or overgrown and the balance is more even.

Sixth, stop being anti-community (as your post makes you seem) and enjoy the varing quality of our work.

I may have been a bit harsh, but was it really necessary to correct my typos? Furthermore, they are adding too many maps at one time. Like, i'm sure that i would've enjoyed them if they were released slowly so i had a chance to learn each one, but with 5 new maps it's hard to keep track. But i do admit some are alright, it may be that i just haven't played them enough yet, but some definitely need to go. By the way, i only posted this because lots of people in the game i was in were up and arms about it and told someone to post, so i did.

I'm sort of a grammer nazi, don't mind that. Its like a pet peeve.

However, the maps weren't relased quickly. They were tested them all on us 1-12(or 13, IDK and IDC) and becides, isn't 5 new maps a GOOD thing. I mean, who wants to play the same old 4 maps, even if their really good ones. You and your freinds I guess. Besides, after a few weeks or a month or so, you have routes for the maps and it doesn't even matter, right.

Hmm, Ive got to agree with both of you here. I do feel all the community maps were added far to quickly. I play SG a lot, and I havent even had chance to play them all yet. Chad should have really added one every week or so, in my personal opinion. And as a Builder for TeamVareide, who helps out with the SG maps, I must say some of the community maps are of very high quality. Especially Teweran. Maps like Teweran do not deserve to be taken down, because they are very good, it's sad I can't say that for all of them, however.

I agree that maps such as the MCSG Ruins are downright horrible as well as unprofessional, no offence to people who like the map but that is just my opinion, the idea sounds good except the outcome wasn't very good at all.

I do like all of the other community maps though, I agree they don't have the same feel and originality as TeamVareide's maps but they are quite good looking and professional.

Remember that people have their opinions, you can attempt to persuade people but in the end you should respect their opinion. It's impossible to impress absolutely everyone, but we can try for the majority, and that's why we have voting.

I think that having 8 maps is just too much, although it is only temporary, its still just too much. There are many people that always complain that map 4 is always chosen, and there are a few things I have to say about that.

1. If you would think about it for a second, if map 4 is consistently getting by clear majority, then clearly the majority of the people like the map and want to play on it. Just because you don't like the map, doesn't mean that we all have to do what you want.

2. On the other hand, it is quiet annoying for those who don't like Breeze Island (But don't spam saying "DONT VOTE 4") that they don't get to play on the map of their choice.

Now, I would like the hear what everyone has to say about this, because for example, we could say us20-25 no longer will have Breeze Island. Yes, that will be quite annoying for breeze island lovers, but it will mean that those who don't like Breeze Island can have a chance to play on one of the other maps. The other option is, they build a bridge and get over it. Just over come the fact that you don't like the map.

Let me know what you have to say about Breeze Island and what your opinions are, I love it because I have a good route :)
