Alright, here we go again.

So, back in v1 was a beautiful command, this command was: /chat off. What this command would do, was disable player chat for you. You couldn't see what anyone else said, only stuff staff and server would say.
This is a pretty simple solution to stuff like this: http://gyazo.com/812d8606e42d6137859a36f58f25d9bf http://gyazo.com/ac276754f6f07c529bd6e53b8a78dd6f http://gyazo.com/770ab62c182fa0d191827a37f8798285
This can also help simple things such as harassment.
Tell me whatchu think c:

(I bought up this idea a while ago, see here: http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/chat-off.51209/)

I must say, I think this would be a good thing to implement, but they would also need to add a rank system so that you would still see staff chat. Otherwise people might get punished for ignoring staff instructions. It might not be highest priority, but definitely a good idea!

Maybe in certain places, but not everywhere.

it would just be a net-minecraft-server check for player receiving packet (message) and if packet is from user without permission A, block message. Give staff permission A so you can see the message :p

I've actually turned off my chat to try to have a better playing experience, but commands only still shows their chat, and with chat off you won't get server announcements. Please add this.
