Voting System

To introduce myself I am GhostlyProMC (Nick), ad I would like to file a complaint. First, I will inform you it is about the Survival Games Voting system issue. One reason I dislike it is because I believe in majority rules.
Also, there tends to be hate towards the percentage part of the voting system. I get that it gives other non popular maps a time to be played, but obviously if they aren't getting voted people dislike them. I believe it should be removed

I have actually gotten hate for coming up with this voting system in game... It was really just an experiment and I didn't think it would get accepted. I'm sorry if this has made people upset. Hopefully someone can come up with an alternative that satisfies both halves of the community. I'm still rather fond of Raffle Voting.

Don't get my wrong it was a grand idea, but just didn't work out to well! I mean if it was all good maps and no bad i'd be alright. ya I like one mpa better than the other, but as long as I have a route im satisfied

I like it just fine. The most voted map is still normally played but there's a bit of extra variety.

I guess you can look at it in that manner. I just really enjoy the old voting system like 10 times better, but thats because I like Majority Rules.

I disliked almost always playing the same things and having to spend time server hopping to play something different under the old system.

I can see where your going. I can agree with you, but that is when you need to develop multiple routes if yours gets taken. That's how I dealt with it

I don't care about routes being taken, I just think it's boring to always play the same maps.

I feel more empowered with this voting system. No matter what I vote for, my vote actually counts. Sadly, your single vote never counts in a presidential or student body officer election, as one usually wins by thousands of votes in a presidential election and by dozens in a student body officer election. With Rafffle Voting, you always count, which is what people like about it.

Anyway, it shouldn't bug people too much whether it is one voting system or another, because a lot of good maps can be found on MCSG these days. There are only a couple that I would really dread playing. (Yep, bashing on Fallen Colossi again. Thank heavens it got removed.)

The staff are trying to find out a be way for voting currently. Some people like raffle voting (I am one of those people) and some people want the old voting ways. Since people can't agree, a new way is being thought up!
